A solution to replace paper forms with a simple app. Farmers can focus on their work, not paperwork.
"Jira" for Farmers: No More Paperwork

The Challenge
Farmers and tractor operators were overwhelmed by paperwork. Reporting fieldwork, tracking fuel usage, and submitting invoices required manual documentation, time-consuming process. Often, office staff had to digitize handwritten records, adding even more workload.
Clear goal
Eliminate paperwork, streamline data collection, and make reporting faster, easier, and user-friendly.
The Solution
We created a robust yet simple app, a "Jira for farmers," that:
Allowed operators to log tasks, eliminating paper forms.
Enabled approvals from field owners directly in the app.
Streamlined fuel tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
Operated offline, syncing data automatically once internet access was restored.
The interface was minimalist, with large, clear buttons for easy navigation, even in tough conditions like muddy fields or while driving a tractor.
The Results
Reduced paperwork: Replaced manual processes, saving time and reducing errors.
Increased efficiency: Operators completed reports on the app, reducing the need for office staff to manually enter data.
Techniques
Wireframing and prototyping
Gathered insights from tractor operators. Created flowcharts, wireframes, and click-through prototypes.
Interaction design
Crated a straightforward interface for data entry and task tracking. Ensured UI elements were robust and usable in different conditions. Designed a flexible system that could scale across various agricultural tasks.
